Try Dalida, a brand-new Mediterranean restaurant at 101 Montgomery Street – a quick walk away from both hotels.
Located in the Montgomery Street Barracks on the Presidio’s Main Post, Dalida is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant with a full bar, bay views, and great food.
Guests can enjoy a variety of mezes, an innovative list of Middle Eastern pastas, and a selection of individual entrees as well as food fit for sharing. Try Aleppo half chicken or Cypriot lamb chops for dinner, and tres leches cake and Turkish-style ice creams for dessert.
The bar features a robust selection of eaux de vie, brandies, and housemade cordials, as well as wines from across the region.
Enjoy your meal in the main dining room, a private dining room, at the beautiful chef’s counter with views of the kitchen, or on the front patio overlooking the Main Parade Lawn.
Dalida is run by husband-and-wife duo Laura and Sayat Ozyilmaz, who also live in the Presidio. It is named in honor of Sayat’s mother, also called Dalida. The name, in Polish-Yiddish, translates to dahlia, the official flower of the city of San Francisco.
