Mingle in the community lounge area, sit out front on the porch, or enjoy the warmth of the fire-pit while indulging in local wines and a selection of cheeses and charcuterie.

The Inn at the Presidio is a green hotel in San Francisco embracing the concepts of “green and local” in ways we hope will enhance every aspect of your stay. The commitment began with the rehabilitation of historic Pershing Hall and continues with day-to day operations.
Ecology Trail
Located just steps away from The Inn is the Ecology Trail where guests can walk down a short pathway that connects Arguello Gate to the Presidio’s Main Post. The route passes through lush restored serpentine grasslands, towering redwoods, oaks, eucalyptus, Monterey pine, and Monterey cypress.
